Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Japanese shipping company Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) and representatives of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs exchanged views on potential cooperation in the maritime sector during a meeting between Maritime Affairs Minister Filip Radulovic and company representatives.

The meeting focused on the cooperation achieved through the MOL Training Centre (Europe) in Bijela, as well as on possible ways to further strengthen collaboration in the maritime sector.

Radulović said that MOL’s interest in the development of Montenegro’s maritime sector confirms that the country has the potential to be recognized as a reliable partner in the international shipping industry.

"We are particularly pleased with the successful cooperation achieved through the MOL Training Centre (Europe) in Bijela, and we remain open to new projects that will contribute to the advancement of the maritime economy, the development of skilled personnel, and the strengthening of Montenegro's international reputation as a maritime nation,” Radulovic said.

MOL is a Japanese shipping giant that operates a fleet of more than 900 vessels and employs over 10,000 people.
