Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There are currently 42,770 unemployed people in Montenegro, same as last week.
According to a report by the Employment Office, the unemployment rate remained at 18.45 percent this week.
The highest unemployment rate reached 32.7 percent in July of 2000, while the lowest one, at the level of 10.1 percent, was recorded in August of 2009.
Since the beginning of the year, the Employment Office has registered 14,620 newly employed workers.
In the same period, 28,160 vacancies have been advertised.
