Atlantic Council set to monitor protests in Montenegro

Podgorica, (MINA) – The Atlantic Council will monitor protests in Montenegro and the region, in order to discover potential third-party involvement, Atlantic Council President Savo Kentera has announced.

Kentera told the press on Tuesday that the Atlantic Council seeks to uncover foreign country’s influence and interference in internal affairs of countries.

He explained that his organization accidentally came into possession of certain information about the protests of the Yellow Vests movement in Paris, adding that the Atlantic Council’s focus is on Montenegro and the region.

Kentera said that one of his organization’s primary objectives was to discover the third parties that seek to interfere, weaken national institutions and incite chaos and unrest in certain countries.
