Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Deposit Protection Fund will start with the payment of guaranteed deposits to the depositors of the Invest Bank Montenegro (IBM) tomorrow.
The payment of guaranteed deposits will start at 10 a.m. through Societe Generale Bank Montenegro, Hipotekarna, and NLB bank.
The Fund is obliged to pay a total of €22.58 million to 2,730 depositors, including 2,340 citizens.
The depositors have the right to collect their guaranteed deposits in this way within three years, after which they can approach the Deposit Protection Fund directly.
There is a ten-year statute of limitations that applies to the guaranteed deposits.
