Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Montenegro Business Alliance (MBA) says that representatives of a number of hotels and retail chains have made an agreement with farmers at the agricultural fair in Podgorica, adding that the tourism and trade sectors would benefit from this arrangement.
According to a press release issued by MBA, the main purpose of the fair, organized in Podgorica last week, was not to sell products but to establish a continuous cooperation between these three sectors.
“The intention of the organizers was to encourage intensification of cooperation between farmers and the trade and tourism professionals,” the press release says.
The press release says that, in addition to the strengthening of these three sectors, the domestic products and their indisputable quality are also promoted in this way.
“MBA believes that this and similar events are necessary, as each of them contributes to intensification of cooperation among the three sectors,” MBA says.
MBA organized the fair in cooperation with the Capital City of Podgorica, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, the Ministry of Economy and the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development.
