Law will burden micro and small enterprises

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The President of the Employers’ Federation (UPCG), Mirza Muleskovic, has said that a draft law on fiscalization in trade in products and services will not contribute to countering informal economy and increase in public revenuers, adding that this piece of legislation will additionally burden the business sector, particularly micro and small enterprises.

He told Mina-business agency that the proposed draft law, which is subject to the ongoing public consultations, will not improve the registration of turnover and tackling of informal economy.

“Everyone who is currently outside the fiscalization system will remain there,” said Muleskovic.

 

He believes that the proposed draft legislation will not considerably increase the public revenues.

“Black market remains outside of its scope, including a large amount of money and many potential taxpayers that could be contributing to the public budget,” said Muleskovic
