Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegro and Albania maintain close dialogue at a top level and the two countries together, as NATO allies, contribute to the values of the Alliance, Prime Minister Dusko Markovic has stated.
According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office, a meeting between Prime Minister Markovic and Albanian Ambassador to Montenegro Ridi Rutezi noted that Montenegro and Albania have excellent bilateral relations, good cooperation and high level of mutual trust.
Markovic underlined that Montenegro as the frontrunner of the EU accession process is ready to support Albania and to transfer its experiences of implementing the EU agenda and of the challenges that lie ahead in the process.
The meeting noted a positive role of the Albanian people in Montenegro, who contribute to Montenegro’s social cohesion and its future and build a strong bridge between the two countries.
