New requests to be presented on Saturday’s rally

Podgorica, (MINA) – The representatives of the Civic Movement “97000- Resist” called on the citizens to join the Saturday’s rally, in which, as they said, new requests will be presented.

Civil activist Dzemal Perovic told the press conference that Montenegrin system is an imitation of a multiparty system and democracy, that it is on a crossroads, and that things cannot develop in accordance with the model which is known in advance.

Asked by the press about the following steps and how they plan to attain real change of system if heads of all national institutions resign, Perovic said that the answer was a technical interim government, which would organize the first free elections.

He added that there was no option that the opposition could overtake the protests.

Civil activist Demir Hodzic remarked that the protests will remain peaceful and called on the citizens to join the next rally on Saturday at 6 PM.

He remarked that the latest rally exceeded their expectations, wince it gathered almost 15000 citizens.

Hodzic announced that in the next rally they will head towards “the captured Public broadcaster”, as well as that the transport from the north of the country would be organized.

Hodzic added that they have new requests which will be presented on the Saturday’s rally, as they did the last time.

“We believe that the change of government will come soon. We expect the citizens in the next rally help us formulate our requests. This is not a political issue, but a socio-economic one”, said Hodzic.

He also called on the media to join the process.
