Protection from cybercrime through modernization of communication channels

Podgorica, (MINA) – By modernizing communication channels, control of virtual cyber world and digital communication environment, high level of protection against the crime in this field can be achieved, said Montenegrin Ambassador to the UN Milica Pejanovic Djurisic.

Speaking at the International Conference on Military Communication and Information Systems (ICMCIS) in Budva, organized by the Atlantic Council in Montenegro, with the support of the Security Institute and the Defense Ministry, she said that by development of technology the need for protection of military systems rises.

Pejanovic Djurisic emphasized that she is proud that Montenegro is the host of the congress and that fast developing digitalization at the global level has fully changed the life of the people around the world.

She added that it is great challenge to apply all innovations in the military defense systems.

According to Pejanovic Djurisic, by modernizing communication channels, control of virtual cyber world and digital communication environment, high level of protection from cybercrime can be achieved.

 

Minister of Defense Predrag Boskovic said that only by development of the IT and communication technologies we can adequately respond to the current security challenges.
